1. What is pork barrel spending?

3. What argument do Ellwood and Patashnik make about criticism of pork barrel spending?
4. What are the three key properties of an “ideal pork barrel project?” (Ellwood and Patashnik)
5. What do Ellwood and Patashnik think would get rid of the “deficit mess?” How does pork barrel spending fit into this claim?

Also, finish propaganda activity.
Extra Credit: Watch three Super Bowl Commercials and explain the propaganda technique used in the commercial.
